Our new Premium HoodZ™ are constructed of top quality 6 oz. 4-Way Stretch
Lycra®/Spandex. The SmoothEZ Premium HoodZ™ are held in place with a 2 inch
wide elastic girth strap that connects with a Side Release Heavy Duty ABS
Buckle. The Buckle is sewn in place so you never have to search for your
buckle. The HoodZ™ also has an 18 inch low profile YKK zipper that goes
from the chin to the neck and is serged into the hood with 4 threads making
it a very strong connection between your fabric and the zipper. We also
installed a 2 inch wide zipper guard that helps prevent coat snag and zipper
rubbing on your horse. The Premium HoodZ™ come with a double reinforced
front yoke that passes between the front legs and connects into the 2 inch
wide elastic girth. The front yoke keeps the front of the hood from riding
up into the chest creating a source of annoyance and irritation to the
horse. Additionally we always contour the shoulders of our hoods for
freedom of movement of the horse. Un-contoured shoulders can also easily
become a source of annoyance and irritation for the horse. Finally we
installed an adjustable muzzle Velcro connection that allows you to adjust
the fit of you hood on the horses face, this eliminates any problems that
result from the natural elasticity of the fabric and allows you additional
sizing adjustments in-between washings. The SmoothEZ™ HoodZ™ can be worn
either with or without our BodySuit™ and can be made with a velcro tie in
point. All of our products are Made in the USA with materials purchased in
the USA and are labeled as such. |

These are our economy hoods for those that want the same great quality hoods
without all the bells and whistles at an extremely affordable price.
These hoods are constructed of the same top quality 6 oz. 4-Way Stretch
Lycra®/Spandex as our Premium hoods, however these are all pull on style
hoods.
Our Horse Size Hoods are
held in place with a 2 inch wide elastic girth band that is fully adjustable
and attaches with a heavy duty side release ABS Buckle. Our Miniature
Horse Size hoods are held in place with a 5 inch wide lycra®
girth band that attaches with velcro. Our horse size hoods include a
double reinforced front yoke that passes between the front legs. The
SmoothEZ HoodZ™ can be worn either with or without our BodySuit™
and can be made with a velcro®
tie in point. All of our products are Made in the USA with materials
purchased in the USA and are labeled as such.

Key Construction Points and

Are the eyes and ear openings of your current hood or full body sheet a
source of irritation for you and your horse? All of our eye and ear
openings are serged with four stitches first then folded under and top
stitched with 50 weight polyester thread at 20+ stitches per inch, this
gives you a quality finish, allows the fabric to lay flat and still
affords you the maximum stretch to your product!
this also ensures that your products will not unravel and give that used
and abused look.

|
Our faces are made with extra length to prevent “riding up” on the face
and come complete with a Velcro® strap as well as stitched in elastic on
the noseband for a custom designed tailored fit that also gives you an
additional adjustment for the stretch of the fabric, if needed.
Generously-sized" eye and ear openings are "well-placed" to prevent a
source of irritation that can occur in some hoods and full body sheets.

|
We have added more fabric to the shoulder and chest to allow for full
coverage in all of our products this avoids any pulling or chafing with
the movement of the horse that can result in other competitor items.
|
|
|
Because
all of our products are custom designed we ensure that the overall
length of all our products allow for the movement of the horse and will
not pull through the shoulders which is an area that can cause chafing.
We also provide a tapered butt with a butt flap to cover the full butt
of the horse protecting the tail dock.
|
|
|
All
seams are 4-thread serged with 50 weight polyester thread, so each
and every seam throughout the entire hood is stitched with at least FOUR
threads creating a very strong yet stretchy seam. Then ALL of our
seams are folded under and stitched with a low profile stretch of 20+
stitches per inch to keep the seams down and avoid leaving seams lines
that can distract from your horses appearance in the Show Ring.
Serging and finish stitching also means that you receive a product that
is completed with professionally finished edges all around.

Because a "safe and comfortable horse is a happy horse"™,
we install a wide
Lycra® or elastic Girth Straps/bellyband. Our experience is, that the
thin elastic bands just do not wear as comfortably for the horse that
has to wear this 24/7. So we do not use the thin elastic on any of
our products. We believe in allowing the elasticity of the fabric
to hold the product in place which is more comfortable to your horse.

Keeps
your horse's coat clean and free of dirt particles during shows.
Just remove the HoodZ™ minutes before entering the show ring and run a
light brush over the coat and you will be ready for the winners circle.
